As the mighty victorious warrior,
Stands o'er his vanquished foe,
He takes in deep a prideful breath,
And frees his mighty bellow,
"I am man, my foe, this tiny Earth,
I have now defeated,
Now on to mighty cosmic berth,
As I fly, on wings of fiery blaze,
To stars beyond the skies,
My past seems just a haze,
When I first partook of flight,
Such freedom did I feel,
But now to foreign rocks I go,
With burning ember zeal,
Upon my moon once did I step,
Exploring its curious soils,
Beyond her now my sites are set,
To other planets spoils"
For man this journey will never end,
Into the deep does he now go,
To forever search,

Drip, Drip,
A droplet hits the windowsill.
Drip, Drip,

It is raining outside. Drip
The slow and mournful descent of the droplets, Drip
In sheets and showers, they cascade upon the tin rooftop of my house. Drip
An orchestra of water, playing a mysterious melody, Drip
They are tears, Drip
Of a father, whose son is not coming home, Drip
Of a friend, sharing in the sorrow, the pain of a death. Drip
The power of rain over the dreams, the emotions of man, Drip
It holds me in awe. Drip
A flash, a bang, Drip
The thunder picks up the harmony. Drip
I watch as the rain's graceful dance carries it lower, lower until it reaches

I did follow its course, as it runneth through the land,
The ever rocky bottom, the banks, so full of sand,
The river full of laughter, as the children swim and play,
The river full of tears, for the one that got away,
The sadness it hath caused, to the drowning victims kin,
Dost not overwhelm the joy, of swimming once again,
It beckons me to follow, its long and winding path,
See all of its still pools, bath by glittery bath,
Waterfalls and rapids, their awesome roaring power,
Grind away the riverbed, hour, by lengthy hour,
So

Snorkeling the Balmorreah
I paddle along the surface,
Dodging the dozens of swimmers.
The water is crystal clear,
The bottom twenty-five feet down.
The noise,
The laughing,
The screaming,
The chatting,
The splashing,
The cacophony is just about unbearable,
I wonder why I came here.
It's crowded,
I run into a woman on an inflatable bed.
I locate the perfect
